Nathaniel was born the 15 of October 1971 in Toronto Ontario. He passed away suddenly on April 11, 2025 alone at home in Langley BC. He was only with us 53 short years but he touched many lives with his generosity and extraordinary work ethic. He was always there to lend a helping hand when needed and most times, before it was asked of him. He was charismatic and loved to meet new people, greeting them with his big smile and a warm hearty hand shake. Nathaniel's greatest love was his daughter Myhrsades (Murray) Jones of whom he was so proud. He loved to gift her with concert tickets to experience her favourite band or book travel tickets somewhere special. He was very proud of his world traveller. He also loved music and because of that she and many others have a wider range of music we listen to. His second greatest love was his work and work-family (especially Gord, Trevor and Andrew-he fondly referred to as Pikachu) at "When Calls the Heart" filming location where he was fondly called Nate (N8). He was transport department employee/actor and he enjoyed working on set in different roles. He also loved to cook and bake cookies and bars, entertain his friends and family and wrote many poems in his ever so recognizable hand writing. His door was always open to all, young and old and I have often seen him giving a hug over his balcony rail. Nathaniel is survived by his daughter Myhrsades Jones (Phil), his brothers Jeramie (Thao) and Jason Phillips (Rizza), his nephew Andrei, his father Perry Phillips, his mother Yvonne Langevin, his step-brothers Gordon Langevin (Jan), Brian Langevin, his step-sister Teri Van-Ryssel, and God Mother Lee DeGoede. He has left a big hole in all our lives and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to Joshua House in his name.
