Nathan's obituary
Nathan Anderson Viel was born on April 5, 1993 in Hartford Connecticut. He took his last breath on April 19, 2024 in Dallas, Georgia at only 31 years old.
After a life of smiling and joking through the worst of life’s possible struggles,
Nathan lost his life at the Pumpkinvine Nature Preserve, leaving a resounding echo of grief rippling through countless lives in multiple states. Nathan Viel was a man of remarkable endurance and strength.
To his family, Nathan was a steadfast lifelong trustworthy companion through thick and thin. He was a proud father of his son Logan, his sister’s greatest protector, his brother’s inseparable teammate, his mother’s precious son. Nathan was fearless and strong, a warrior that fought until his last breath.
To his many friends, Nathan was the life of the party. A friend of true loyalty and dedication, who would fight your fight with you until the end. Nathan was hilarious, witty, and fun.
To his coworkers Nathan was hard working, reliable, knowledgeable, talented and always willing to help.
Nathan Viel is survived by his son Logan Anderson Viel, little sister Kathleen, his big brother Michael, and his mother Holly Viel. His father, James Viel is walking alongside Nathan in heaven.
Nathan’s family and friends, who he considered family, will cherish his memory forever. Nathan’s life had a profound effect on many people, and the world is a different place without him by our side.
His life will be honored at the Living Proof Church, in Ashford, CT on Saturday, May 4 at 11 a.m.
