Sending our condolences, love, and hugs to the entire Simmons family and close friends. I saw Nathan last about 2 years ago at the grocery store. While I was trying to get a quick update on how the family was doing, he took the opportunity to speak to me about his faith.  It was great to run into him as always.  Praying comfort for all.
Sending love and prayers. I can see him walking through Heaven with that big smile, big claps, and big hugs reuniting with loved ones! (Maybe even pointing and saying, I told you Heaven is real!) Nathan was always so kind, he was a gift and lit up a room. Deepest sympathies to the family ❤️

Just the two of us, back when…
Just the two of us, back when things were simpler. This one gave my heart a tiny bit of light, even if only for a moment. Love you always, Nathan.

We are sorry for the loss of Nathan. We will always think of him and his lively  God honoring,  joyful handclapping  singing in the Second Baptist Church Youth  Choir. We love him much!

So sorry for your loss.  He was such a joy to coach at Boulder High all those years ago.  A remarkable young man with an amazing work ethic who always kept us laughing

Remembering the days we could…
Remembering the days we could stay up past 10pm, laughing and celebrating. It hurts without you here, Nathan. The tears won’t stop. Miss you so much, big bro
Heartfelt condolences from the Petruziello family
Bob and Linda, our prayers will be with your family as you navigate this profound loss. We love you. The Greathouse Family

My condolences to Nathan's family.  Nate had been my friend since sixth grade 1988, when he moved to town after his dad became the assistant coach for the CU Buffs. We shared so many good times growing up in Boulder, playing sports, and just being kids. Nathan was a star on the football field, earning All-American honors in high school before going on to play for his dad at Oklahoma State. As life went on, we drifted apart for a while, but for the last 15 years, we've been in constant contact whether through a quick text or a phone call. Two years-ago, I got to spend a weekend with him when we went to the CU vs. Nebraska game. I got to meet with his parents Coach Bob and Lynda  it was great seeing them again . It was an incredible time catching up, seeing old friends, and making more memories together.i was planning to be in Colorado this past weekend for my 30 yr reunion and i planned on seeing him but it didn't happen.  I'm crushed, thank you Nate for all the talks, the encouragement, and the laughs. I know with your strong faith in Jesus, you're now rejoicing in Heaven. Take care, my friend. Love you always.

Nate often came to our house …
Nate often came to our house after school at Bear Creek and Southern Hills.  He was a sincere and loyal friend.  We once made a cake for French class together (to my mom's horror) - we were very proud of it.  RIP
Deepest sorrow from knowing this wonderful man whom I’ve known thru my son Nathan Whitney as they grew up together in Boulder Colorado … may he rest peacefully in Gods name. 🙏
So sad to hear this.  Nathan was a solid man and an amazing athlete.  Grew up with them in Boulder.  Many found memories of playing baseball with him and Brandon

Coach and Linda:

Thinking of you both during this time.  Your family and Nathan have always meant so much to us. Our prayers are with you.

Love, Coach Ramsey and Ginger
