Nathan @Okie”'s obituary

>Nathan "Okie" Sharber went home to Jesus on January 13, 2025 at age 63.

Nathan was born on December 15, 1961 to Doyle and Nellie(Wood) Sharber at Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He spent the majority of his life living in Bethany Oklahoma. Nate attended Putnam City West High School and graduated in 1980. Nate worked in the trucking and automotive industries in business Management. 

Nate was an avid motorcycle enthusiast knowledgeable on every aspect of history and mechanics of Vulcan Motorcycles along with loving working on them. He was also a hot rod car lover, he loved to fish, ride his motorcycle, play his guitar prior to his illness of pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary fibrosis. He fought a gallant fight against the disease and the odds but it was too hard of a fight. 

He is proceeded in death by his parents Doyle Sharber and Nellie Rice and stepmother Mary Sharber, adoptive father Gordon Helderman, brothers Shannon Helderman and Terry Helderman, stepbrother Tommy Dilbeck 

He leaves a wife Rita Kay of the home, 1 son Justin Sharber and wife Katy of Claremore, Ok, and stepchildren son Jason Graham and wife Whitney of Burns Flatt , Ok, 2 daughters Karla Graves of Norman and Carrie Graham of OKC, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Surviving brothers Shawn Sharber of Sulphar, , Mike Helderman, Tommy Helderman,  of OKC, sister Misty Rockford of Sulphar , sister Lynda Grisham, sister Vickie Chitwood, many cousins,  nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father , grandfather and great grandfather.
