I went to high school with nathan and I don’t have any outstanding memories, but what I do have I will share. HighSchool was not fun for me… but Nathan was always nice. He never made fun of me or bullied me me. in a school full of mean people there were a select few that i liked for that reason. Nathan was one. His parents raised him well. i’m sorry he’s gone too soon. prayers and love for the family

It is hard to find the words, or know where to start.  I guess I’ll start with, I miss you.  I miss your silly giggle. I miss hearing you say “Hey Sis” when I call.  I miss your unwavering optimism and reassurance that everything will be alright.  I miss your goofy gestures, like holding your breath, your deep-in-thought look and the way you never pick up your feet when you walk.  I miss hearing about your crazy conspiracy theories or your grandiose plans.  I miss reminiscing about Thunder Cats, balance beams, "The Pit", dance parties and family vacations.  You are part of every memory.  You were my first best friend, and then came Natalie, and the 3 of us have been inseparable partners in crime ever since.

The way you conquered the world is an inspiration. I wish you knew how many lives you touched and how much you were loved by everyone that knew you.  You were so humble and courageous.  Even as you fought for your life, you made sure all of us around you were comforted by your hope and optimism.

As life goes on without you, I will take your hope and optimism and hold it in my heart.  I will share our stories with your children and mine.  Finally, I will fly a kite, let it go and imagine it reaching you in heaven.
