Nathan "Nate" Gruwell went home to Jesus on March 15, 2024 at age 59. His loss was completely unexpected and the family is shocked and deeply saddened.
Nate was born to Merrill and Patricia Gruwell on January 27, 1965 in Whittier, California. As a child, he loved playing for hours in the backyard, or out in the neighborhood on his bike with his friends. Nate met his ex-wife, Cecile, in college; they married in 1987, …
