Nathan was such a kind and funny person that I will always look up to, he was in Colonial Latin America class with me and we shared fun memories together when we saw each other at frisbee practice of our time in the often boring class and the long readings we had to do, but often didn’t end up doing. While I was not very close with Nathan, he is in my heart as someone who I look up to as such a fun and loving person. Nathan truly embodied the Southern California lifestyle as an easygoing guy who always had a smile on his face. I’m very excited to see how Nathan’s tree grows and flourishes at the feast garden, embodying the growth he inspired in us all.

Genuinely the kindest and attentive person I've known. When think back, it hard to imagine him without either a smile or a quizical look on his face. He was a welcoming, and someone who was always welcomed, a truly warm person.
