This a short clip of Nathan and teammates being introduced before the North Central little league playoffs in 2014. His team - representing TNT taco restaurant in Wallingford (and coached by Ron) went on to win the championship that year. Our son Matthew was lucky enough to play with Nathan on that team and their friendship continued to flourish over the next decade.

We were so sad to hear the news of Nathan’s passing. We will always remember the fun we shared at U Prep baseball. Sending hugs and love.

I just spent the past hour looking through all of these wonderful photos of Nathan and all of his friends and family. Such an amazing life he lived and he lived well with so much love around him. He attracted that sort of warmth because he gave so much of himself to anyone in his sphere. I continue to reflect on how he made Kate and I feel so special the last time we visited Seattle - he went out of his way to spend time with us. We will cherish those memories. He was one of a kind. I often wondered what kind of person he would be as an adult and what impact he would make in the world. Well, I feel like I know now - he was a kind, genuine, curious man who left an indelible mark on those of us lucky enough to spend time with him. I think many of us hope we can be just a little bit Nathan in our lives. Even though we live on the other side of the world, our circle of friends already know him, Claire, Alexa and Ron because we share stories about these amazing people often. And we will continue to hold on to his memory. So much love to Ron, Alexa and Claire.
