Nathan R. Colston Sr. was born on February 15th, 1956, in Osawatomie, Kansas to parents, Elijah David and Merlee Colston. He passed away peacefully in his home in Kansas City, Kansas on December 5, 2025.

Nathan was a great man that lived for his kids and grandchildren. He would have done anything for anyone.

He is preceded in death by his father, Elijah David Colston, his mother Merlee Colston and brother, David Eugene Colston.

He is survived by his children, Nathan R. Colston Jr. (Trisha) of Leavenworth, KS, Danny Eugene Colston (Amber) of Independence, MO, Shirley Ann Conejo and Kelly Kay Hernandez of Commerce City, CO, and Amenda Ann Colston (Megan) of Colony, KS; his sisters, Linda Parrish and Martha Stauch of Kansas City, KS; his brother, Robert Down of Blue Springs, MO; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
