On our last day freshman year we decided to sleep in the bunks together. You insisted on putting rain noise on and I didn’t mind until I woke up to you snoring 😂😂😂. Love you man.

After I committed to play lacrosse in college Nate and I decided to go to wintergreen! We had a blast listening to music in the car and talking about life. That day I saw him fly down the mountains and do some crazy tricks. So grateful for the memories I had with Nate. Such a gentleman ❤️

Nate was in my communications…
Nate was in my communications class 4 years ago, he was the only funny thing about that class, he always found a way to make people laugh with his jokes, even when he didn’t joke. We all knew him as the “can man” because of his enthusiasm. He was the actual can man himself, he brought a new concept to high schools that now even in my current school in ga we call the cheer people “can man”. I remember him giving the funniest presentation about marketing and once I stared at him and I remember him saying “Is there something funny, what are you looking at?” He was always the funniest person to see at in deep run. We will all remember him.

Nate was truly the kindest person. I am so thankful for the many years of friendship I had with Nate and all the laughs we had together. The memories I had with him will never be forgotten. He had the biggest heart and was nice to every person he met. I will miss you forever my sweet friend.

This picture and story pretty…
This picture and story pretty much sums up Nate as a person. Nate came to watch our deep run tennis match and spent almost the whole time entertaining my family friends kid. She would text me for months after saying "Chase misses Nate" and even invited him to his birthday party. He really did make such a lasting impact on everyone that he met, no matter the circumstance.

Nate was a great friend who got me through the tough times of online school during Covid — he was the #1 reason I passed AP Calc. We would always sit in my dining room and eat snacks (our favorites being Cookout and chocolate ice cream), suffer together through math and Spanish, and make the most of it. In a time when the world felt so weird for a 17 year old, he made it feel normal for us all.

My favorite memory of Nate was when I convinced him to let me dye his hair with frosted tips. It took us 3 hours to get it done. Afterwards, he kept it for months. I smile every time I see a photo with his hair all blonde like that. Nate was so adventurous and made every moment joyous and memorable.

nate is one of the most genuine and best people i have ever met, and there was never a dull conversation. He got me so locked in on a conversation that i didn’t notice the dog eating my glasses. A special kind of person that I will always cherish and keep close to my heart. Love you Baker, can’t be a better friend or man than you are 🕊️💜
My condolences on your loss so sorry to hear this such a tragic situation
