Natalie's obituary

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Natalie Anne-Marie Loree (Ward), 63, of Red Deer Alberta, on December 10th, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Natalie will be greatly missed as a wife, mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Natalie is survived by her husband of 39 years Larry Loree, her children Britney and Brandon Loree (Ashlee), Stepson Cam Surette (Carina), Grandchildren Jaxson, Sawyer, Emersyn, Harper and newly arrived Nathan, Natalie’s mother Florence Ward (St Jean), Father Gerald Ward (Deceased), Brother Darrell Ward and sisters Linda, Margo, and Alison. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Natalie was born on July 7th, 1959. She grew up in South Calgary district where she attended St. Matthews Elementary and Junior High School moving on to Bishop Grandin High School where she graduated with honours in 1977. Natalie later studied Interior Design at Mount Royal College.

In 1983, Larry and Nat married in Calgary. Years later they went on to start a family and moved from the Calgary area in 1997 to Red Deer Alberta.

Natalie managed a large-scale greenhouse operation in Red Deer. Natalie was an avid and talented gardener and spent countless hours in the garden with her grandkids teaching them gardening, important life skills, and wonderful memories that will be in their hearts forever.

Natalie’s forever childhood friends Alice, Fran, Linda, and Lori will greatly miss their annual get aways with her.

You’re invited to a Celebration of life, will be held at Haysboro Community Association Hall, 1204 89 Ave SW, Calgary AB, T2V 0W4, on February 25th 2023 at 1:30PM.
