Just learned of his passing. I am so sorry Chris & Abby. I may have not gotten to know him but I do know he was a very great being because he was your son. He will be missed. Love you all.
Love,
Penny Sellers.

Nash was a W man, he was silly in his own way, he was different and definitely shown the people who loved him, that he loved them back, i didnβt know him for as much as others but in the little time i did, iβd say he would have made for a great dear freind, which he has to many

Nash took French class in the spring of 2023. I was his teacher. We had a party for his birthday and we called it "Nash Bash 2023". It was one of those things that really makes teaching great. We had a disco ball and glow sticks and cookies with his name on them... Just being goofy and celebrating Nash. I loved it so much, I had decided it was an every year event. I told him that he would have to come back every year even after he graduated so we could have Nash Bash. A couple months ago I started working on a t-shirt design for his birthday in 2024. I kept checking in with him to see what he thought about it and get him pumped up. I refused to let it go haha!
I can't remember why, but for some reason Nash earned the nickname "Naughty Nash" in class. He thought it was funny. We let him sit in his own seat in front of the class. He didn't want to move back, so that became his permanent seat. I called him "NN" cause I knew people who weren't in class wouldn't get the joke.Β
Nash was also a founding member of the "Front Porch Gang". Since it was the last period of the day, when I finished teaching Nash, Eric, and Caleb would take their positions on the front porch - the space just outside the classroom door - to help watch the halls. I'd stand there with them and they'd make sure everyone walking by was following the rules (and protect the cheese stick IYKYK). One time the Front Porch Gang found a stack of cards that was supposed to be handed out for a church event called Motion. That's the day they taught me what it means to "pull up to Motion". They asked everybody who walked by if they were going to pull up to Motion.
I could keep going... There were so many memories made in that class. My heart is broken for his family, his friends, his classmates. I just hope he enjoyed his time with me. I won't ever forget him.

I don't have any actual pictures of Nash since I made everyone put their phones in the caddy (ha!) but this is from his birthday party in April in French class.
