It took me a few days to actually believe Nasar’s sudden demise. Although I wasn’t in contact with him for a long time but can’t forget the 2 years of college we shared together.

He was a kind, gentle soul. An avid reader, always with meaningful thoughts and conversations.

May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and bless him a special place in His Heaven. My heartiest condolences to his mom, wife and daughters to bear this tragic loss.

Praying for God’s peace and strength to surround you and your precious girls during this unimaginable time. Jared and Susie
I’m deeply sorry for your loss. May your circle of love help carry you through this difficult time.
We truly hope you can find comfort and peace during this difficult time. Our most sincere condolences.
I cannot imagine the pain you are feeling, but please know that you are surrounded by care and compassion. We are thinking of you and your family. 🤍
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Nasar and he was always to kind, understanding, and just full of love. Even through our chats, I could feel how genuine and kind he was. Praying God keeps the family strong and will comfort you all during this time.
Nasar was a great guy. I was in an equal shock like others. May Allah Kareem give him Highest place in Jannah and Sabr to his family.
May Almighty Allah pardon all your shortcomings and reward you with the highest rank in Aljannah Firdaus.... Ameen

Nasar was a regular musalee at Aisha musala and would always be seen doing an extra sajda after Salah of shukr SubhanAllah. I would see him often and know nothing except good from him, truly a humble and pious man.

I remember one day I was fasting and he could tell straight away that I was just because my mood was different and that just goes to show that he wasn't just going through life day to day but really looked at those around them and cared for them. May Allah grant him the highest ranks in jannah and reunite him with those he loves!

Allah yerhamo, he was always in the masjid praying the prayers that many people neglect to pray in the masjid, may Allah accept from him and forgive him for any sins he may have done in his life.
Nasar was a calming voice on many team calls.  His presence in our Strada professional life is greatly missed.

AsA, I was in an equal shock like others.

A discussion was going on in the group, about the game finished the same day in which he performed so well and out of a sudden someone said, oh, he is no more and his body is at the hospital, most of us were speechless, 😭 this shows how fragile life is, any moment could be our last, another learning curve for me and all of us.

I met him recently, with other guys, at a cricket facility, and felt like we knew each other for years, such was his sober, decent and calm personality. He used to tell me (being few years younger then me) Yar main wazan kam kerna chahta hoon, ap ki tarha, and I would say Nasar bhai, diet check karain or work out main Cardio karain, you ll be alright and would agree. May Allah send his soul to the best of Jannat and give his family the Sabr as Allah said in His book, "From Him have we come from and to Him shall we return". Please let me and all his friends know if we are of any assistance and keep doing duas and Quran Khwani for him, now, as this will help him a lot in the next life.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon.

I met him quite often at the masjid and that was the extent of my interaction with him. Some people we may not have known closely by name, yet our hearts felt connected to them through the masjid and obedience to Allah. We loved them for the sake of Allah alone, and that is a bond that does not end with this dunya.

May Allah forgive him, elevate his rank, place light in his grave, and reunite him with those who loved him for His sake under His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His. May Allah grant patience and strength to the family. Ameen.

I don’t know where to begin.

When I started playing cricket in Houston, I met Nasar bhai, and in a very short period of time we became very close friends. We shared coffee from the same cup, gossiped after cricket practice, and spent countless moments together. He would often talk about his weight-loss journey and proudly show me his before pictures. He was truly passionate about living a healthy life, for himself and, more importantly, for his family.

We also shared a deep mutual interest in Soofiyana Kalaam. We would exchange kalaams with each other and discuss how Allah SWT calls His servants closer to Him. Those conversations were meaningful and soul-touching, and they will stay with me forever.

On his last day in this mortal world, we played a match at Stafford Ground. As he walked onto the ground, he looked at me and smiled—and I knew why. I noticed something unusual: for the very first time, he was wearing the full uniform, including the trousers. He said with happiness, “Saif, I’ve reduced a little more, and now these trousers finally fit me.”

He opened the bowling and bowled superbly. In his very first over, he took a wicket—clean bowled. He was the happiest person on the field. After completing three consecutive overs, he said, “Saif, I’m feeling energetic. I can bowl one more over.” And he did.

After the match, we went for lunch together. We spent the whole time together, eating, talking, and planning our next match. He was extremely happy with his performance, and so was everyone else. Even the opponents were shocked by his outstanding bowling.

About an hour later, we went home.

Within two hours, I received the news that shook my soul.

I had left him full of energy, smiles, and high spirits. I could never have imagined hearing about his sudden demise. Most likely, I along with Khalid Khan and Mustafa Hemani was among the last people to be with him.

May Allah SWT rest his soul in eternal peace.

May Allah SWT grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah SWT forgive all his shortcomings.

May Allah SWT grant sabr-e-jameel to his daughter and to our sister.

Aameen Ya Rabbul Aalameen
