I send my condolences to Naomi's family. We were schoolmates and friends at PS208 in Brooklyn. I spoke to her a number of years ago. I didn't realize she died.

I will always remember her sense of humor and beautiful  smile.

On one of our missions trips with Fruit of The Spirit, Naomi and I were shaking hands with guests  after a concert. We soon realized that the guests whose hands we were shaking did not match the persons size or softness. We embarrassingly realized we were shaking each other’s hands. Afterwards we shared that we were both thinking how strange the guests hands were. Since  our  quirkiness was most consistent,  the crazy hand shaking incident happen again! Years later at a different concert somewhere in the US!  I sure miss those quirky moments with my sister and friend. I always think of Naomi with so much love. She was a wonderful Godwoman and  an amazing  friend!

Naomi Garrison Clark- you will always be missed

August 24, 1958 - May 21, 2021

My sincere condolences from the Ebron and Minter family. Naomi was always family to us. Our family go way back to the beginning of the birth of Brownsville Church of God. I can recall many Sunday dinners and sleep overs at the Garrison's home. I particularly love eating grandma's rice and could not get enough of it.
I loved to hear Naomi sing. She made a special visit recently to North Carolina to see us. We didn't realize that it would be the last time we would see her. We are so glad that we had a chance to embrace one another once again. Her sweet and pleasant spirit had not changed. Her and my sister Deborah should have recorded songs. When they sang together it was always a sweet, sweet spirit in the place.
Naomi is with our King of Kings now. Not to mention a great host of witnesses. We love her dearly and she will be missed.
Naomi’s life touched mine in so many different ways over the years. Many of our memories were made fellowshipping and working together at church. Her heart to encourage others in quiet ways was so moving to me. She never made a big deal of it when she did something to help or encourage someone because her desire to benefit them was genuine and she didn’t want any recognition.

We also shared lots of memories around just being “moms.” Just before Naomi, Miriam, and Austin started coming to our church, I had prayed that God would send a little girl the age of my daughter because there were only little boys her age in our church at that time, LOL. They were, very literally, an answer to my prayers.

Naomi‘s love for the Lord worked itself out in so many every day, practical ways in which she gave her self to others. I will never forget her. ❤️
Naomi had a beautiful soft spoken heart in where her smile would light up a room.

We all grew up and came together in, Brownsville Church of God, where my family attended.
“The Heavenly Doors are always open! “Naomi you are truly at home now.”

My Prayers and Blessings to the family.
