Nancy's obituary
Nancy Weirmier, a truthfully honest and thoughtfully stubborn woman, was born on June 30, 1958 and unexpectedly passed away on January 13, 2025. She lived her life to the fullest, embracing every new day with gratitude and upheld her belief, "Don't sweat the small stuff; just take it easy. Appreciate every day you are given as nothing is promised."
A lifelong fan of Michigan Wolverines & Detroit Lions, Nancy enjoyed a good game of Euchre, Screw your neighbor, or Rummy in her spare time. She was particularly fond of crocheting and cherished every moment spent with her family and pets. She also had a knack for switching the TV channel to I Love Lucy, Any Griffith Show, Golden Girls, or anything paranormal.
Survived by her daughters, Jennifer King and Elizabeth Day, her sister Laura Ahearn, brother-in-law James Ahearn, and her granddaughters Jayden King, Bryce Day, Josephine King, and Reese Day, Nancy's absence will deeply be felt in their lives. Her three fur babies will dearly miss her special touch and care.
Her greatest accomplishment were her marriage with her late husband, Paul Weirmier, and the birth of her two beautiful daughters and four gorgeous grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Weirmier, her parents, James and Dorothy Norkiewicz, her siblings Linda O'Leary and Allen Norkiewicz, her granddaughter Macy Day, and her aunt, Elizabeth Kattouah.
Nancy's fondness for delicious food, her love for Pepsi Zero, and her favorite color yellow brought zest to her everyday life. In her memory, let's continue to celebrate the joy and the love she spread in our lives and cherish her contributions forever.
