To my Nance,  when we met it was such a passing of friends.  You grew to be one of my closest friends.  I love you like a sister and even more.  You gave me such great advice, not that I took it, but to this very day I wish I had.  You are an inspiration to me and always will be.  When I grow up I want to be just like you.  I love you so very much and will miss you  incredibly.  I'm so grateful that you had Ron to complete you these last 13 years or so.   Your smile is so infectious, as long as I live Nance you will live with me.

 Peace out Nance.

Steve

Nancy and I had fun remembering VI Childs, who entertained at the Buckley Bar many years ago. We talked about Vi, agreeing that our senses of humor were the same. Also, she and several other Kirkland ladies enjoyed playing card games. We weren't very competitive, but we sure did like sharing snacks and wine. I had the thrill of floating on Lake Tapps aboard her barge. She was a great captain of the ship!

Nancy went to high school with Karl and I, graduating in 1964. We lost touch over the years. But reconnected at Creator Lutheran 6 years ago. She was the first one to welcome me  and help me get to know others. She was the most hospitable, kind person always.  We are blessed to have known her. Vickie Kirn

We met Nancy while visiting Donna, Herm and Mae at Lake Tapps a few years ago. Some people played golf with the Portola group. I ended up going for a cruise on Nancy’s boat with the non golfers. Helped Nancy prepare food for the returning golfers. It was lots of fun. Was happy to see Nancy again when she settled in Portola  with Ron. She fought a good fight and passed  with her loved ones around her. She will and is missed.

Nancy was one of a kind; always looking for how she could be of service to others and help those around her...I never saw her without a smile..she is definitely missed, well loved and remembered here in Portola

She was an upstanding human being....

Peace be with you my friend...                                 Ron Stubbs & Jeanie Taylor  Portola CC Palm Desert
