Nancy Goedecke Thayer, born on May 4, 1937, peacefully passed away on September 8, 2024. A beloved mother, Nancy’s courage, grace, and resilience left a profound imprint on the hearts of those privileged to know her. Throughout her life, she demonstrated an enormous capacity for love and care, and her memory will forever inspire those left behind.

She is survived by her loving children, Paul Goedecke, Leanne Goedecke, Mark Goedecke, Dave Goedecke and Marianne Goedecke McMann. Her Grandchildren Micah, Bradley, Josiah, Joshua, Isaiah, Andrew, Ashley, Marcus, Tiphany, Zack, Alex, Emily and her 1 year old Great Grandbaby Wren Lee.  Also her sister Sally Hall and nieces and nephews, Cathy, Brenda, Bradley and Brian. They all describe her as a gentle force that nurtured their growth and kindled their strength. In these moments of grief, Nancy's family draws comfort from their cherished memories of a brave woman whose spirit remains indomitable.

Nancy's loss leaves a void impossible to fill, her legacy will continue to guide and inspire her family and friends. She will forever be remembered and deeply missed.
