Nancy's obituary
Nancy Lynn Stierwalt, a cherished Nanny, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, in Wellington, Florida, at the age of 76.
Born on March 3, 1949, Nancy brought warmth, love, and joy to everyone who knew her. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—watching her favorite TV shows, reading, and staying connected with loved ones. A thoughtful and reflective soul, Nancy often turned to her journal, capturing both everyday moments and deeper reflections with grace. Her faith was a steady foundation throughout her life, and she drew strength and community from her church. Her grandchildren will always treasure the crafts, stories, and special moments shared at Nanny’s house.
Nancy’s kindness, humor, and steady presence will be missed deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and meaningful connection that lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Max Stierwalt; her son, Brad Wright; and her father, Norman Wolfe.
Nancy is survived by her children, Shelley (John) Prickett, Chad (Amy) Stierwalt, and Janyll Stierwalt; her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her mother, Barbara Wolfe; her brothers, Dan (Linda) Wolfe and John (Julie) Wolfe; sister, Carolyn (Brad) Killebrew; and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends.
