Nancy and  i had lost each other.  It was the early 1970's.  My desk was in front of the door of Medical Transcription in Building 98.  I was busy typing dictation.  I heard a familiar voice:  "Janet, is that you?!?

I turned to see who that was!!!

NANCY ??????

Yes...NANCY!

Ever since that day we talked, called, visited, laughed, cried and shared.

My best forever friend Nancy remained beloved friends.

She was my "All in All" and we will see each other one day!  Praise the Lord.

My condolences to Nancy's family and friends.  I will always remember the good times and laughter we shared.  🖤❤️💛
Nancy, I can't believe that I won't be able to see your beautiful smiling face on this world anymore. You thought me to be positive, no matter how we may be feeling. Your example, I will treasure it forever. Until we meet again.

My deepest sympathy to all of Nancy’s family, Nancy and I claimed we were partners in crime but truth be told she was one of the dearest friends I had after working together for so very many years.  She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her, she had so much energy and love for everyone she met.  Nancy spent hours talking and keep me calm after a family tragedy. She and Max were there to provide care after my surgery and kept me laughing and my fondest memories the last twenty years were of Nancy.  We never got to have our pajama party but I know we will one day.  I know heaven was waiting for you with open arms, give max a kiss for me.  I will miss you forever and ever.
My sweet, beautiful, kind, loving funny friend. I love you so much. I was so looking forward to seeing you next week and go to our favorite places to eat. My heart is broken, but I know you're in a better place with our sweet Lord. Another angel just got her wings. Miss you so much.  Love you my mija.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Nancy was a kind lady .
Nancy, what a wonderful  woman and friend you were. I will forever remember  your kindness. RIP

—reunited at last with papa. It brings me peace to imagine them together again.

She was so incredibly special to me. I will always cherish our long conversations, her warm wisdom, and the way she made every moment feel like home. Some of my most treasured memories are the childhood visits she carefully planned to make magical for all of us grandkids, and all those Florida trips filled with laughter and love.

I’ll never forget when she told me my wedding was the best party she’d been to in 50 years—that meant the world to me. My middle name is after her, and I carry that with deep pride. She had this beautiful way of making anyone she spoke to feel like the most important person in the room, and her presence made life brighter for everyone around her.

I am forever grateful she got to meet my babies—Brooks, Aleah, and Colson—and love on them in person. She showed up to every milestone, every celebration, always cheering me on.

I will hold these memories close forever. Say hi to Papa for me and give him the biggest hug. I love you so much, Nana

I will miss you, Nancy, and I am grateful we connected after 50 years apart. My mom and dad loved “little Nancy.” I am so glad you were in my life. You helped me through some tough decisions as I made the move to leave the VA and you were always there to listen and support me…being just as kind to me as when you were 16 and I was a wee toddler/preschooler. my condolences to your family. Sending my heartfelt condolences to Nancy’s family.  As you know Nancy was a sweet & caring individual who would give you the shirt off her back.  She was so supportive & kind when life’s difficulties got in the way. Nancy was one of my best friends.  We met at our jobs at the VA and were pretty much inseparable.  After we retired we became even closer. The Lord blessed me when he brought Nancy to me. Her unselfish & loving heart helped me through the most difficult time in my life.  Nancy, I’ll miss you, so fly high pain free with Jesus..
