Mrs. Nancy Herrington Riddick, 65, of Poolesville, MD passed from this life on Monday, September 9, 2019 in Frederick, MD as a result of her third and final struggle with cancer. Nancy was born July 11, 1954 in Laurel, Mississippi to Rod and Mary Herrington. She was a member of Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church. Nancy’s passions were gardening, jewelry making, photography, helping others and living in Christ. Her family is sure that she is in Heaven now with other members of her family especially her brother Roddy. Along with her brother, Nancy is preceded in death by her sister Nan and her father Rod. Survivors include her mother Mary Tucker of Laurel, MS, her sisters Diana Elliott of Laurel, MS and Doris Bankston of Independence, KY, her husband Rod, her daughters Chelsea Sperduto of Florence, KY and Katie Jefferson and her son-in-law Charlie Jefferson, and grandchildren Jack and Shelby Jefferson of Derwood, MD. Nancy also leaves to cherish her memories, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will begin at 11:00 AM on October 5, 2019, at Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church in Poolesville, MD.
