We were working together on the annual Holiday Hearts Bazaar at the First United Methodist Church in DeKalb. As we were working and talking, we realized that six of us were turning 75 and decided to call ourselves the Diamond Church Ladies. We all went out to dinner to Sorentos one night and decided to put flowers on the altar at church. Because we all turned 75 at a different time, we decided to put the flowers on the altar that summer. Those turning 75 were: Joh Benson, Lois Merwin, Margaret Phillips, Nancy Perusse, Louise Lowe, and Jane Randolph (me). Only two of us are left, Louise and me. I remember so many fun times with Nancy. She made the most beautiful cross stitch ornaments and towels. Rest in Peace my fellow Diamond Church Lady.

Blessings,
🙏🙏💕
Jane Randolph

I'll always treasure the nametag that Nancy made for me at church. I made her a tea light candle & every time it flickers, she was reminded that someone was thinking of her. We talked for an hour, when I visited her to deliver it
