Nancy Louise Olson, age 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Chapmansboro Tennessee on March 24, 2021. She was born August 2, 1949 in Arlington, Virginia.
She married the love of her life, Leon Olson, December 20, 1969. She graduated from Port Huron Cosmetology College in 1981 and opened her own salon in Fort Gratiot.
In 1997 they bought their retirement home and moved to Gallatin, Tennessee. She was unable to just sit home,, therefore, she excepted a part time position at the Chamber of Commerce along with feeding her love for animals part time at a local veterinary clinic.
She was always listening and singing to Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline or any old country song. In the late 70's she had the opportunity to share her dancing abilities square dancing on the Chesaning show boat.
She was extremely artistic and talented. She mastered all her hobbies. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, drawing, painting jewelry making and gardening, just to name a few.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leon ; children, Laurie (Chad) Deater, Edward Olson, Lee (Andrea) Kearney and Rita Kelch; grandchildren, Ashley Koglin, Chase Koglin, Clayton Koglin, Ernie Kelch, Amanda Kelch, Jordan Kearney and Alexis Kearney; great grandchildren, Khylee Koglin, Leon Kelch and Tanner Kelch.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 19, 2021 at the Lake Huron Retreat Center

Please join us at 5:00pm for dinner and to share our favorite memories and stories. We will be have a sky lantern farewell at dusk.
