Nancy Sue Myers, 83, passed at home on July 22, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 11, 1942 to Frederick and Bernice (Godby) Deaver in Noblesville. A woman of grace, warmth, and quiet strength, Nancy unknowingly uplifted those around her. Nancy was a graceful woman who was generous with her time and kindness, creating deep and lasting bonds within her family and community.
Nancy danced through life with both gentleness and ambition, a combination that painted a beautiful life for both herself and her family. She was not only a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, but also a cherished friend and mentor.
Nancy’s enduring impact is also seen in her life’s work. In 1969, she founded the Nancy Myers Salon, a now storied and renowned establishment in Noblesville. More than a business, Nancy’s salon became a vibrant gathering spot, a place of connection, and a reflection of Nancy’s commitment to earnest work and community. Her vision and gentle presence continue to thrive there today with the help of her dedicated husband and children.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Terry Joe Myers, and four children: Tony (Amanda) Myers, Ricky (Mary) Myers, Teri (Bryan) Clarke, and Rhonda (Shane) Gilbert, as well as her brother, Frederick (Linda) Denver. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Kristin Durm, Zachary Burrow, Justin Clarke, Brandon Burrow, Rikki Myers, Devin Myers, and Drake Myers and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom carry forward her love and joyful spirit. Nancy was proceeded in death by her loving sister and best friend DeDe Lawson.
Nancy’s life was both delicate and resilient, soft and persevering. Her memory lives on in the love and kindness she gave, the strength she modeled, and the community she helped build. Nancy’s legacy can be honored through support and donations made to the Nancy Myers Cosmetology Scholarship.
