Nancy was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was one of 6 children. She had a career in nursing administration and a love for writing that grew in recent years. She finished her collection of short stories entitled My Mother's Daughter in 2024. Nancy was effortlessly magnetic, and never wanted for a doting circle of friends. 

Nancy is survived by her partner of 18 years, Patricia, daughters Stacey and Nancy, goddaughter Heather, sisters Shirley, Judy and Miriam, and several loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by beloved mother Susie, father Thurston, and brothers William and Charles. Nancy passed at home with her partner Patricia by her side, graced with the vigilant and loving caregiving in her last days from Daria and Zarely.
