Nancy Rosa Maxwell (nee Rowlan) was born February 11, 1939, in Jersey City, NJ to Husie and Dorothy (nee Hartzog) Rowlan. She graduated from PS14 and Ferris High School. Her entire working life was spent in the financial sector:MONY, Citibank, NY Federal Reserve, before settling in at Merrill Lynch for the next 25 years as an assistant supervisor, where she handles multi-million dollar personal, corporate and celebrity accounts.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Shanna Jackson Bradley, granddaughter Danielle Bradley Jarrett, great-granddaughter, Gina Bradley and bonus great-grandson, Jabari Cobb; her son, John Maxwell; granddaughters Tameka Williams (and her children) and Shabria Hall (her husband David and their children) , and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

She is preceded in death by her former husbands, Richard Jackson(father of Brian and Shanna) and William Maxwell(father of John); oldest son, Brian Keith Jackson (father of Tameka and Shabria); brothers Charles Edward Rowlan and H. Carl Rowlan.

Mrs. Maxwell passed at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ, on January 17, 2024, following a series of illnesses.

Her funeral service will begin at 4pm at Watson Mortuary Service, 26 Gifford Ave., Jersey City, NJ.
