Nancy Marinchak February 16, 1938 – January 21, 2025 

Mountain View, California Nancy Elizabeth, 86, of Mountain View, Ca. 

Nancy Elizabeth Marinchak, Daughter of James and Lois Alcorn, loving wife of John Joseph Marinchak, passed away suddenly on January 21st in Mountain View, Ca. She is survived by her four sons, Jeff (Susan), John, Todd (Elizabeth), Mike (Jennifer), nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild all living in California. She is also survived by a number of family members, in-laws and cousins in Pennsylvania. 

Nancy grew up in Avonmore, Pa daughter of steelworker and farmer, and a devoted Mother. Nancy attended and graduated from Bell-Avon High School where she graduated in 1956. After high school, Nancy met and married John Marinchak while she was in Nursing school in Latrobe, and soon afterward they relocated to the Bay Area in 1961. 

Nancy was a Labor and Delivery nurse for nearly 50 years; first at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City and then at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. Nancy was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, hiking, enjoying the Trinity River, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. 

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Nancy’s memory to Hidden Villa (www.hiddenvilla.org) or Cristo Rey San José Jesuit High School (www.cristoreysanjose.org) two organizations where she dedicated her time and passion for community service.
