Nancy's obituary
Nancy Lee Mann Davis, 83, peacefully transitioned to her eternal home on Sunday, December 14, 2025, surrounded by family. Nancy was born in Lakeland, FL on March 23, 1942. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Mae Taylor and Jessie James Mann, her loving daughter, Sylvia Lynn Young, and her husband Dewey Davis. She was the oldest of five sisters, of which two , Margo Reynolds & Charlotte Smith, both from Lakeland, FL preceded her in passing. Nancy, known by close family as “Hank”- a nickname from her father, loved Jesus and her family deeply.
Nancy held a variety of jobs including long distance truck driver, cashier, and transport driver to assist elderly as well as individuals with disabilities. Through these jobs and what some called her gift of gab, she made many friends. Nancy enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing cards and shopping for a good deal. Most of all she loved people. She loved meeting new people and spending time with her loved ones.
