Nancy's obituary
Nancy Carol Rollins Ledbetter, beautifully born on March 15, 1940, gracefully passed away on July 17, 2024 in Cartersville, Georgia. She was a woman of immense love, dedication, and nurturing spirit, always instilling the powerful lesson in others to "Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you." Nancy leaves behind a legacy of Christian faith, kindness, and generosity so potent, that to know her was to love her. She will be missed profoundly by all.
Although she now joins those who have passed before her, her memory will continue to thrive. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth Ledbetter and her cherished sons Walker and Neal Ledbetter. Nancy was also predeceased by her brothers Pat, Paul, and Ronnie Rollins and her parents Walter and Lovella Rollins. Their wonderful memories will now be shared and cherished in heaven.
She lives on through her lovingly survived daughters Donna (Dennis) Taylor, Janeen (Phillip) Quarles and her daughter-in-laws, Angie and Melinda Ledbetter. She also lives vicariously through her 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Nancy's sisters Elaine Estep and Debbie Glenn and her brother Sharon Rollins also continue to carry her memory in their hearts. Their dedication will ensure that her lessons and love will continue to flourish.
Among Nancy's greatest accomplishments was her devoted marriage of 52 years and her beautiful family of 4 children. These achievements truly embody her nature as a caring, supportive, and dedicated woman. Her lasting influence will continue to touch hearts, even in her absence.
A Memorial service to honor and celebrate Nancy's life will be held on August 11, 2024, at 4:00 PM (Central Standard Time) at US Highway 278; Faith Baptist Church, Piedmont, AL 36272. After grave-side services, there will be a dinner in the Reception Hall. We invite all who knew and loved her to join in commemorating her unforgettable life full of love and generosity.
