Nancy's obituary
Nancy Jeanette Langlois , 62, of Danielson, CT, passed away at her home in her sleep peacefully on May 1, 2023.
Nancy was born on October 30th, 1960 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. Nancy spent her early life with jobs in the warehouse and service industries while raising her daughters, Melissa and Amanda, whom she loved fiercly. She was creative and had many hobbies including fishing, crocheting, painting, and gardening. She loved NASCAR and watching the Boston Redsox and New England Patriots. Spending time with grandchildren was her favorite and family was everything to her. She was the life of the party, as you could always count on her to crack a few jokes and act silly at family events. Her smile would brighten up a room and she was always there to make you laugh. She was a giver, strong and independent. These traits were part of who she was, and her strength undoubtedly helped her to deal with life’s challenges.
Nancy is survived by her daughters Melissa Schmith and Amanda Lamoureux, siblings, Linda Strouse, Robert Langlois, David Langlois, grandchildren, Samantha Hagge, Billy Hagge Jr., Walter Woznicki III, Cynthia Woznicki, Kaiden, Kairah and Kolton Guertin, along with great-grandchildren, Harper, Roland, Everleigh, and Baby Rhea on the way, her cousin, David Peloquin and childhood friend, Carlene Sabourin, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ida and Adelard Langlois, and brothers, George and Donald Langlois.
Services will be held on May 13th, 2023 at 11:30AM at Holy Cross Cemetery Gravesite #575, 372 Maple Street, Danielson, CT 06239.
A very special appreciation to Janet Langlois for being there for her daughters when Nancy could not and helping with planning.
