Nancy snuggling our youngest …
2012, Oakland, CA, USA
Nancy snuggling our youngest on a visit to Oakland in 2012 :)

Nancy was a loving caring person. Her vibrance was contagious! Nancy will be truly missed by all.

Nancy was a shining light, one of the warmest and most genuine people ever born. She was supportive to the ends of the earth and personally was my rock as I started a family, navigated personal challenges and professional changes. We became instant friends at work when she introduced herself: "I may look like a typical Midwest soccer mom, but I am also an aspiring funk slap bass virtuoso."

I'm so grateful we had a long catch up call a couple of months ago. I can't believe I'll never hear her warm voice and that perfect Chi-town accent again. She was a stunning human and she leaves a gaping hole in my heart. The world is lesser for her absence.

My deepest condolences to Nancy's family who were her everything. Much love to you all.

Learning of Nancy's passing today is soul-crushing.  She is one of the loves of my life.

This hits very hard.  Nancy was a wonderful person and valued colleague who was always there to support our team.  She was truly a rock star in every measure of the phrase.

It was an absolute pleasure and a blessing to have known Nancy.  Her contributions to the court reporting profession were innumerable and will be greatly missed.  A beautiful soul and remarkable woman.  Knowing that I was working in Manhattan on 9/11 Nancy never missed that anniversary.  She always texted and asked how I was doing and told me she was thinking of me!  A true Angel in every sense of the word! Rest in peace my friend.

  Hugs until we meet again!

I know (I just know) that the funky horn section of Tower of Power played you into heaven, girl. Gone way too soon. Will miss you madly.

Nancy was one of my favorite people on the planet.  She was also a bass player and loved music,  I sent her a text a few days before she passed telling her God has this and that she was in our prayers.  My husband Steve is a drummer.  Nancy replied to my text saying “Tell Steve I think I finally found my groove.”  She was positive up until the very end.  Rest In Peace, my friend.   You are one of a kind and always in our hearts.💕
Nancy was an absolute lovely person. Our paths frequently intersected in the legal area where her nickname for me was "metadaddy. " She always made one feel special and definitely followed her passions while supporting others in their quest. We will miss you Nancy.

I am in shock. She seemed happy and healthy at my birthday party.

She was such a great person!

My most sincere condolences. I remember the start of her bass journey, the moment her basses were stolen and subsequently found again, and her joy at getting them back. She was such a fun person to converse with on the LDLD forum. She will be missed.

While I never met Nancy in person, she was a warm and funny contributor to bass forums (like the Low Down Lowdown).  Her joy and passion for music seemed to mirror her loving approach to life.

My condolences to loved ones ...

I am so sorry that Nancy passed away so soon but thankful that she was surrounded by her loved ones and is at peace now. I will miss Nancy - her smile, sense of humor, her perfectly timed advice to me and her wisdom.  Nancy had great hair and an infectious smile and was a wonderful human always. She made a difference in many people's lives and not everyone can say that. I will especially remember the time we spent in Fennville and Saugatauk in Michigan for a few very special days. May she be at rest and know how much she was loved. ❤️
