Thinking of Nancy today.....missing her voice, her  infectious laughter ...our forever friendship.

Nancy ....Another birthday in Heaven....but never far from my heart.  It's wonderful to think of my forever friend as forever young.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Nancy’s passing.
We became friends after meeting at First Christian Church Bible Study Group in Napa. I valued and appreciated our mutually supportive relationship during several years in the mid-eighties.
She occasionally invited me to her comfortable home for a meal with her two sons.
Regretfully my fiancée became jealous of my friendship with Nancy. It was a very sad day when Nancy and I met on a park bench next to the Franklin Station Post Office where I worked. It was heartbreaking for me to say goodbye to a wonderful Christian woman and supportive friend.

Dan & Chris - Your mom's birthday popped up on my calendar last week so I've been thinking of her frequently even before today. Along with so many others, I love and miss her, too.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM ! (Insert Birthday Cake here)

Love you very, very much-- always will! - I had the honor of being your son for 54 years, and thank you for being a wonderful Mom and best friend. For your friends, family, and students, we will always remember you, and my guess is we will see you again when the time comes.

Love from your Son, Dan

I’m so sorry to about Mrs. Tindell ( old habits, sorry). She was my very favorite teacher. She also taught both my girl’s. She got a kick out of that (that was her first time teaching a student’s child).she was a wonderful and happy lady. So sorry for the family.
I was saddened to hear of her passing. She was my son’s third grade teacher at McPherson. My great Joy was in seeing her often around town, usually grocery stores. And she was always interested in hearing how Eric was doing. How many little Eric’s she must’ve taught and mentored! My sincere condolences for your loss. Karen Kenny
Nancy cared deeply about her siblings, and as an in-law to the Goldsworthy clan, I witnessed her caring spirit many times in the 16 years I knew her. She never failed to remember birthdays or anniversaries and always thought how she could show her love with many gifts she sent and care with the calls she made. She loved to read and share what she read and was eager to have others read the same deep novels she'd enjoyed. We miss you, Nancy, it has almost been 50 days since you left.

Oh Nancy, you were such a wonderful friend! Your sunny disposition and sense of humor made you a joy to be around. From our first days at the UofR to our most recent lunch date a couple months ago, this enduring friendship has been treasured.
I send my heartfelt condolences to Fritz, Dan and Chris.
Blessings and love,
Beverly Howell-Bullington

I will always remember when Mrs. Tindell (Nancy) drove Dan, Chris and I to the beach at Bodega Bay with their dog Freckles in the blue Volvo wagon. We had a great time at the beach and the Volvo wagon smelled like wet dog all the way home. She was so kind and giving.

Nancy will be missed more than we know at this time. She was a thoughtful, loving, beautiful human being who deeply loved her two sons. RIP Nancy
