Nancy Jean Deputy was born on January 11, 1945 and peacefully passed away on August 10, 2024 at the age of 79. Nancy was a cherished friend, sister, mother, aunt, and Nana. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with others, effortlessly leaving smiles on the faces of everyone she encountered. Nancy had the exceptional ability to see the best in people, always ready to highlight their positive qualities. Her humor provided an indescribable comfort, while her quick wit and light-hearted jokes brightened the lives of many. She served as a constant reminder for us all to find joy in the little moments life has to offer.

Nancy found happiness in everything she did, but particularly when caring for those she loved. She spent many years of her life as a caregiver, assisting those around her with compassion and empathy. Her passion for nurturing others was beautifully mirrored in her love for gardening. Just as she devoted herself to those she loved, she tended to her garden with the same care and affection. She is lovingly survived by her children — Paul, Becky, Betsy, and Sam — and her cherished grandchildren — Curtis, Mandy, River, Sierra, Hayden, and Lily. Their lives, forever touched by her love, carry her legacy forward.
