Nancy C Ledger, 87, of Aurora, Illinois sadly left us on February 8, 2022 at the home of her daughter Cheri. She was born November 12, 1934 in Keokuk, IA to Cecil and Bertha Hartman. She was a homemaker and child care provider for many years. She worked at TimMee Toys in Montgomery, Illinois for 25 years before her retirement in 1999. Nancy loved animals, dancing, sewing, crossword puzzles and feeding "her" squirrels around her home. Her greatest joy however was being with her family and friends, especially her great great grandchildren. Nancy leaves behind her daughters Cheri  (Dale) Wagner of Oswego, IL, Cathi (Ed) Sheffield of Effingham, IL and her son Robert Ledger Jr of Casper, WY, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, a brother Jack Hartman of Pittsburg, MO, a sister Pat (Ralph) Hall of Kirksville, MO, and several nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, 2 brothers William "Bud" Hartman of Aurora, IL , Sterling Hartman of Aurora, IL , 2 sisters Margaret "Aleene" Hill  of Bolivar, MO, Barbara Johnson of Batavia, IL, 3 sister in-laws Alice Hartman of Aurora, IL, Arlene Hartman of Aurora, IL,  Audrey Hartman of Pittsburg, MO, brother in-law Al Johnson of Batavia, IL, and daughter in-law Julie Ledger of Casper, Wyoming. Nancy was cremated at the DuPage Crematorium in West Chicago, IL. Per her request, no services were held. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her niece Karen Kralick. She knows why.
