Thinking of Nancy today, and so many days.

Nancy and Jerry, came into my life at one of Kate's Harvest Barter Festivals in Montana, quite a few years ago. Nancy had bags of Wilbur Bud Chocolates and roasted nuts she had made and I had my glass artwork to barter. Our friendship began that day. When Nancy and Jerry would visit Kate, and time allowed they would visit my studio to see my current projects. One time they helped work on a big project, and Kate has helped me on several projects over the years. I had a team working at Corning Studio, in Corning, NY, and they came to visit to see the sculpture in progress. Many times I have received one of Nancy's cards and/or encouragement/compliments via FB. Kate, most always, had a bag of Wilbur Buds, to bring back to me, when she visited her parents.....one time they made a special trip just to get said chocolates. :-) Nancy and I texted shortly before she passed. All of the family I hold dear to my heart. Prayers continue. Fondly, Turtle Sister

My deep sympathy to the entire family. I have fond memories of family gatherings at her parents' house and of taking part in her wedding to Jerry. Nancy was a caring and thoughtful person. I am grateful for all she shared with so many other people as shown by the postings and contributions, and personally for her love of reading and the library.

Nancy will be terribly missed as a true friend. She was kind, sweet, and so very caring of others. I shared wonderful times with her twice a month within the teachers’ retirement group. It was a time to share laughter, love of books & life’s milestones. I feel a deep loss.
