Myrna's obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Myrna MacDonald on Jul 14, 2024, born to this world on Dec 23, 1956. A true believer of Jesus, she carried her gentle, warm, compassionate, and loving personality throughout her life. She showered her family with a love that was beyond measure, teaching them the best lessons they could ever learn; forgiveness, kindness, and the importance of family.

A proud mother to her children,   Michael and Megan (Kyle) MacDonald she nurtured them with a love that can only be described as boundless. Her partner, Colin MacDonald, stood by her, sharing life's joys and sorrows. She leaves behind her siblings, Patrick (Adele) Moeller, Lorna Steinhubl, and Michelle (Jim) Katchuck, who will surely miss their cherished sister.

Myrna found endless joy in the eyes of her granddaughters Madelyn, Scarlett, and Adahlia .  Her greatest accomplishment, she often said, was her family and her grandchildren. The legacy she leaves behind is one of kindness, love, and grace. It is a legacy that will continue to inspire and guide those she loved so dearly.

Myrna was predeceased by her father Frank Moeller,  beloved mother, Eleanor Moeller and her brother-in-law, Edward Steinhubl. Their memories were always close to her heart, and they are now reunited in heavenly peace.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Royal University Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their relentless efforts and compassionate care. Their unwavering dedication will never be forgotten.

Myrna was truly a blessing in our lives, and we will forever miss her love, her laughter, and her gentle spirit. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be forever loved and missed beyond measure.

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;  a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;  a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace"(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).
