Myers's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the beloved Myers Wandy. Myers, a beacon of kindness and compassion, was born on November 11, 1938, and peacefully set off on her final journey on June 15, 2025. She will always be remembered as a wonderful woman who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.
Myers was predeceased by her dear husband, Wandy Cox. She is survived by her doting granddaughter, Hana Ewing, and her affectionate nieces, Christine Baker and Maria Alexandra. She also leaves behind the legacy of sisterhood to her sister, Jesica Roberto.
In addition to being an incomparable family matriarch, Myers was an industrious woman who lent her services to CVS Pharmacy from March 10, 1967, until her retirement. A devoted attendee of the Catholic Church, she found immense solace in her faith.
She was a woman of exquisite taste, evident in her liking for traditional Spanish dishes - fabada and cocido de garbanzos, and her fondness for a comforting apple pie drink. An avid reader, "A Long Petal of the Sea" by Isabel Allende was a particular favorite. Myers also enjoyed the slow-moving drama "The Spirit of the Beehive," a classic of Spanish cinema, and had deep admiration for the works of artists like Velázquez, Goya, and Murillo.
Her recreational activities were a reflection of her soothing personality. Reading was her chosen way to unwind, and she loved to be surrounded by splashes of her favorite color, blue. Myers's favorite vacation spots were the beautiful California and Canary Islands, where she made countless joyful memories.
Myers's personality and life were a testament to her values of kindness, compassion, and resilience. The legacy she leaves behind will continue to inspire us all to live our lives with greater purpose, just as she did. She was not just a wonderful mother and family woman; she was an inspiration. Her impact and love will forever remain in our hearts.
