God has rested the soul of Markie McClendon Thomas who transitioned into glory on January 25, 2021. She was the daughter of Booker T. and Emma Woodard McClendon. Markie was a child of God and didn't mind sharing Him with anyone. She was married to the late George E. Thomas for 58 years.
