Monte's obituary

Monte Fletcher has experienced the transition of his spirit to his savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska to his parents Jack & Dorothy Fletcher, as the second oldest of four kids. His family moved to California in 1954 and he continued to reside there until his passing. Monte had a 36-year career with the airlines, which allowed him to travel the world. He had many hobbies but will be remembered for his diligent work on back trailing Buffalo Bill Cody. As busy as his career and passions kept him he always made the time to reach out to family through conversation and a card for every single holiday. His love for the Lord translated into a great love for people who he always managed to bring laughter, joy, and warmth to. Monte leaves behind his siblings; Sherry, Randy, and Christie. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church where Monte volunteered for over 25 years on Saturday February 18th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
