We mournfully announce the passing of Monika Jean Peters, 62, of Roanoke Rapids North Carolina. Monika passed away on March 15, 2022, after a silent battle with multiple medical illnesses. She was the firstborn to Henry and Luerena, shining her bright light on March 9, 1960. Monika was a force to be reckoned with from a young age until her final days. Monika excelled in her schooling, graduating in 1978 from Amityville Memorial High School. …

Monika's wish was to be cremated without a ceremony. We will have graveside memorial in Ft. Valley, GA on April 3rd.
