Background
Monica's family and her husband Tim have decided that the way we want to honor Monica is to establish an endowed scholarship in her name at Tim's workplace (Ivy Tech Community College). "Endowed" means that the scholarship will persist, and continue to award help to college students year after year, in Monica's name. Thus, an enduring memorial that helps others, something she would have loved.
