CHORNOBAY- Mrs. Mona Chornobay beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, family member and friend. Mona died peacefully at the age of 92 years on July 3, 2021 at 9:55am. She joins our Heavenly Father, her beloved husband Rudy, and daughter Eleanor in heaven. She is survived by her two sisters Audrey, and Mildred and brother John A. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Erma (Frank) of Truro, N.S, Norma (Marcel) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Grandchildren Tom, Dana, Mark, Kelly, Katrina, and Anna. Great Grandchildren Conni, Hayden, Lily ,Ella, Cole, Emma, family members and friends. She is preceded by her one sister and twelve brothers. Mona was born in Oak Point, New Brunswick the daughter of the late John King and Evangeline King on June 2, 1929. Mona and Rudy loved their family wholeheartedly and would pack up their camper van and travel from West coast Canada to East coast Canada visiting family, and friends. Mona always had a warm smile, and the sweetest laugh. Mona would often befriend strangers with a smile and a friendly hello. The family wish to thank Beacon Hill Lodge for the care of our loved one at such a difficult time. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
