Mitch's obituary
Mitchell "Mitch" Morland, born October 20, 1968, left us all too soon on August 30, 2025. We remember him for his wonderful sense of humor and kind heart. He was a son, father, partner, and a reliable friend, always ready to lend a hand.
His mother, Marie Gallagher, his father, James (Jim) Morland, his son James Morland, sister Christa Stone, niece Sierra and nephews Tanner and Kody, and partner, Gena Bauza survive him. In these difficult times, we take solace in the fact that Mitch's love and legacy will continue to live on through his family and through everyone whose lives he touched. May Mitch's soul rest in peace.
We hope to have a memorial in Imperial Beach in November 2025 and will keep this updated so friends can be included.
