Mitchell "Mitch" Lee Baroni

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mitchell "Mitch" Lee Baroni, who departed this life on April 6, 2025, at the age of 64. Mitch was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend-remembered for his humor, kindness, love of fishing from a young age, and his deep affection for his grandchildren. Before his health limited him, Mitch spent many years working in the flooring industry, where he was known for his dedication and skill.

He was born on January 13, 1961, in Canton, Ohio, to Mary Louise Scarpuzzi and Ronald Clarence Baroni.

A funeral mass will be held in his honor on Friday, May 16th, at 1:00 PM at St. Katharine Drexel Church, located at 1922 SW 20th Ave, Cape Coral, FL 33991.

Following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at Paul Sanborn Park, located at 2310 SE 3rd Street, Cape Coral, FL 33990. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor Mitch's life.

Mitch was preceded in death by his older brother, Ronald Matthew Baroni; his devoted mother, Mary Louise; and his grandparents.

He is lovingly survived by his four children: daughters Brandi, Amanda, and Michelle, and son Mitchel, all of Fort Myers, FL. He also leaves behind his deeply cherished grandchildren, who were a constant source of joy in his life. Mitch is further survived by his two beloved older sisters, Mary Gail Brooks (Scott) of Cape Coral, FL, and Ronda Baroni Keough of Durham, NC.
