I am so honored to have shared many memories with Mitch, his wife, their kitties, and the entire family and friends they connected us with. He was my brother-in-law, my friend, and, at times, my guitar coach.
It's hard to pick which memories to share because there were plenty, and he made them all special. Instead, I'm going to write an open letter to him.

Dear Mitch,
Last week a hole was put through our hearts. One that can never be filled again. Selfishly, in addition to the many plans that you and Angel had together, we also had some plans that we hoped you to be a part of things like:
- Watch Auggie grow up. (Your gentleness and love for him always warmed our hearts)
- Explain to us the next 100 Star Wars movies.
- Go on an RV trip with us at least one more time.
- Teach Auggie how to play the guitar.
- Teach Auggie about airplanes.
- Take Todd on a flight lesson with you.
- Buy that airplane you really wanted.
- Go to Disney World with us.
- Take another cruise with us.
- Continue to make us laugh.
and many more...
Also, I wished we had more time to tell you things like:
- Auggie asked to call uncle Mitch many many times, and we sad no because we didn't want to bother you late nights and during work hours. Seeing you two talk/play filled our hearts.
- Every time we saw anyone, anywhere playing guitar, we thought of you, and the same goes for airplanes.
- Thank you for ALWAYS being there for all of our life milestones.
- You were a role model to many.
- Todd has a tremendous love, respect, pride, and admiration for you and what you've accomplished. There's never a day in which you didn't cross his mind.
- Your dry, sarcastic, and understated humor made me happy every time.
-Your humbleness and ability to make sad moments a bit happier was unmatched.
- We wanted to share so many places we've been with you.
Though there may not be new pictures to be taken, we shared many moments that will be treasured forever.
We will miss your presence, but the hole in our hearts will become a scar that we will take as a symbol of remembrance to have known you and to have shared laughs with you.
Much much love,
Junior
