2024, We were on the phone gossiping late night

I was blessed to have had volunteered at an organization that Miriam was volunteering at, and we became instantaneous friends. She had a heart of gold and could light up a room with her warm smile. There was a night in May when I had called her nervous about a new job opportunity and we stayed up the whole night gossiping and laughing. She had a very soothing way about her where she was able to get you out of your own head. She was always able to see the good in people even if there wasn't any. My heart has been broken even though she was needed in heaven. I will forever miss and love her.
