Minnie's obituary
Mrs. Stone was born December 17, 1936 in Surrency, Georgia to the late Urias Calvin Page and the late Minnie Lee Rowland Page. She was a member of Oak View Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her husband, William Dean Stone.
Survivors include her daughters & sons-in-laws, Diane & Jerry Boatright of Baxley, Cynthia & Roy Harper of Douglas, and Selena & Adrian Carelock of Baxley; a sister & brother-in-law, Sarah & Tommy Pevey of Baxley. Grandchildren, Jennifer Edwards, Jason Boatright, Misty Willis, William Carelock, Hannah Harper, Troy Carelock and eight great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak View Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Yawn and Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Jason Boatright, William Carelock, Troy Carelock, Chris Willis, Eli Boatright and J. D. Edwards.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Oak View Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Oak View Baptist Church 2127 Altamaha Rd., Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
