Minerva Flores, 64, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on April 07, 2022, surrounded by her friends and family.

Minerva, born on March 12, 1958 to Josefa and Marcelo Ochoa in Cotulla, TX, immediately brought joy and laughter into the world.   Minerva was a dedicated mom to her two daughters, Sonia Aguirre Ruiz and Audrey Flores.   Family came first and was above all else,  especially her grandchildren, Lilliana Danielle Ruiz (Sonia), Jacelle Marie Flores (Audrey), Aleena Faith Garza (Audrey), and Zeus Gaige Garza (Audrey).  The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

Minerva was predeceased by her mother and father, Josefa and Marcelo Ochoa, her brothers Mario and Mike Ochoa, and other beloved family members. She is survived by her daughters and grandchildren and siblings Irma Valle, Diana (Ismael) Siller, Melba (Edward) Viera, Marcelo (Annette) Ochoa, Marty (Craig) Ochoa, Marissa (Jason) Ryals, and Matthew Ochoa not to mention many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family members .  In her younger years she loved to sing, dance, and play sports.  She was also crafty taking to crocheting and needlepoint.  She was funny, loving, and a good listener.  She was the one we went to for comfort always.  After several months of not knowing what was quite wrong with her, we got the diagnosis of Uterine Cancer, but by then she was inoperable.  She lost her battle with cancer April 7th, 2022.  None of us will ever be the same, but the positive impact she had on our lives will outshine the darkness!  Forever in our thoughts and hearts... Loving you always!
