Milya Markovna Treyster died on May 1, 2021, surrounded by family. She was born in Kamenetsk-Podolsk, Ukraine on June 4, 1921. As a teenager, she and her family escaped persecution by Nazis during WWII. After the war, she got married and had a son, Alex in 1949. Milya worked her entire adult life in higher education and organizational management. She was beloved and admired by hundreds of students. In 1994, she and her family immigrated …
