Minta Acevedo, 59, of Allentown, passed away on August 31, 2019. She was predeceased by both parents, Benedicta (Garcia) and Juan Acevedo.
Minta was affectionately known to many in her neighborhood as "Mom." She was a funny woman who enjoyed crafts and cooked for all of the family celebrations.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Tony Pagan, Edwin Vega, Sam Vega, David Schwarcz, and Amanda Schwarcz; and brothers, Juan and Raymond Acevedo, sisters, Wyrma Acevedo, Pearl Roman, and Denna Lee Rivera; as well as 11 beautiful grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will also be held in the funeral home on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 10-11a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11a.m. Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Fullerton Ave. Whitehall, PA.
