Millie's obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Millie Colburn, a beloved mother, daughter, and wife, who passed away on August 29, 2022. Born on January 7, 1940, to Howard and Mildred Colburn, Millie lived a life full of love, kindness, and generosity.

Millie was blessed with a beautiful family, with whom she always shared her unwavering faith in God and the wisdom of the Bible. She is survived by her devoted children  Perry , Michelle , Paul ,  Suzanne, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Dean Walker.

She was a woman of many passions, including writing and art. Millie's love for literature was best exemplified by her appreciation for all types of books. One of her proudest accomplishments was publishing a children's storybook.

Millie's kind and loving spirit extended far beyond her immediate family; she was known for her kindness and generosity towards everyone she met. She had a unique ability to touch the lives of those around her and spread positivity wherever she went.

Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will live on through the countless lives she has impacted, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the fortune of knowing her. As we remember and cherish the memory of Millie Walker Colburn, let us all strive to embody the kindness and loving spirit that she so effortlessly exemplified throughout her life.
